DEFLEX takes the situation around the Corona pandemic very seriously and takes various precautions to ensure that the health of our customers, employees, suppliers and other service providers is not endangered. For example, sneezing and coughing etiquettes are part of the behavior of all DEFLEX employees, as is the regular disinfection of hands at the disinfection hubs provided. The Corona pandemic has led to further actions in the course of the last few months, such as distance at the workplace, protective screens, ventilation concepts, mouth-nose masks in the corridors and ensuring the highest possible hygiene standards at the workplaces and in the social rooms.
In case of emerging insecurity due to e.g. an infection of family members or a possible case of quarantine, sufficient IT equipment is available for temporary relocation of workplaces to the “home office”.
Furthermore, the management coordinates with the works council, business partners and, if necessary, the responsible authorities and reassesses the situation daily for possible, more far-reaching measures. Our production and storage capacities have been expanded and the warehouses are well filled. To date, there are no signs that our ability to supply is impaired. We are closely monitoring the development of our suppliers, who are mainly located in Germany, seldomly in other European countries
